Mojitos
Mojitos
I'm not usually a big drinker. Once in a while a nice cold beer is just the best. However, the Air Conditioning in our office, on the 12th floor, was out all day here in LA where the temps were over 90. So basically, I had no choice but to mix a nice cold Mojito to cool off when I arrived at home last night.
I love making Mojitos because I grow limes and mint on my balcony so I always have the ingredients on hand to mix up some fun cocktails when I'm overheated or have surprise guests stop by.
For one:
Ingredients 10 Mint Leaves
1 Limes cut into slices or wedges
1 Tablespoon Sugar (more if you prefer them sweeter)
1 Cup Ice
1.5 oz White Rum
Club Soda
Directions:
Muddle Mint, 1/2 the Lime, Sugar at the bottom of glass.
Add Ice
Pour in rum
Fill the rest of the glass with club soda
Serve with additional mint and Sugar Cane Swizzle sticks!
